These are some illustrations we did for Halloween mobiles. They're about Catrinas, elegant skeletons originally created by Mexican artist Jose Guadalupe Posada. They're now available at Walmart's Prichos stores in Mexico. Hope you like them.Pencils & Inks: Me

Éstas son algunas ilustraciones que hicimos para móviles de Halloween. Son acerca de Catrinas, esqueletos elegantes creados originalmente por el artista mexicano José Guadalupe Posada. Están ahora a la venta en las tiendas Prichos de Walmart en Mexico. Espero les gusen.

These are so cute. So colorful and perfect for El Dia De Los Muertos. I bought some cutouts for my wall because I like to celebrate that after Halloween. It gives me a nice excuse to extend the holiday for two days.

Yeah. I am an American but my parents were from Central America so I grew up with Spanish in the home and the traditions. I learned about Day of the Dead much later on from TV and loved it for the colors and fun and because it makes Halloween longer. So why not? And I understand what they are saying. I also celebrate (when I remember) the British Guy Fawks Night because of the fireworks and what it stands for. I also leave my Christmas tree up through is it, El Dia De Los Reyes?

Pues, si quieres... pero en Prichos de Walmart las venden impresas en cartón a $13, miden como medio metro de altura y vienen con todo y pivotes de plástico para que las armes. La verdad vale más la pena comprarlas que imprimirlas, pero como tú quieras
