Yay, yay, hooray, happy day, y'all!!!

Finally, after weeks of applying for jobs after my seasonal job at the amusement park (where I've been working for 6 years) ended for the year, I finally got a non-seasonal job!! As a certain cartoon character would say, "Oh, I'm so nervouscited!!!" To celebrate the occasion, I made this picture! I would've put it in a journal entry, but this is more fun!!!

It all started yesterday. I was working on an MMD picture (as usual) when I received a phone call that happened to be a callback from a McDonald's that I applied for not far from where I live. I had a short interview on the 6th of December and my interviewer said she would talk to her boss and get back to me and if she didn't call be the next Monday, that would mean all positions have been filled. Well, two days later (on Monday), she didn't call back, and that's when the disappointment sunk in. Then, three days later, I received the above said callback from said McDonald's location. I was surprised!! They told me that they'd like to hire me and to swing by to pick up info to attend an orientation to the job next Tuesday. In other words, I won't be officially hired until I attend said orientation. I'm not worried, I have complete confidence in myself. Who knows, I might make enough money to buy an excellent momento from the upcoming Comic-Con that's coming to my home state (Utah) and bring more people than just myself to it (it's going to be held on my birthday next year, which will make it even more special).

This picture features me surrounded by my sister and the entire cast of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (with the exception of Discord). I based it on the ending to Short Circuit 2 when Johnny Five jumps up in the air saying, "How do I feel? I feel ALIVE!!" I take the place of Johnny Five and my sister and the cast of MLP: FiM take the place of the crowd surrounding Johnny Five when he jumps up. The way Johnny Five says how he feels is exactly how I felt when the employee who interviewed me at McDonald's told that they'd like to hire me.

This marks the 5th time I've used GAP's Human Spike model (GAP is short for GirlAnimePrincess). I was originally gonna use the real baby dragon Spike, but I couldn't think of a proper way to incorporate him into the picture. I also decided to use the Mane 6 models that GAP has made so far because I haven't already (can't wait till Rainbow Dash) and just to be random, I put Mary Anne on the road in the background (with Mike Mulligan, of course). After adding the MLP characters (and posing them how I want them), I added a few non-MLP characters to fill in the gaps. Heck, I even added the Railway Twins. I don't know why I keep adding the Railway Twins to all my MLP-related pictures, I guess they're such great characters (even though they're fan-made) that it's hard not to add them to the picture (wait a minute, that kind of didn't make sense, did it?). Well, whatever.

I used the MMD City stage that I used in my April Fools Day picture (the one with the 3 Derpys) and changed the skydome to a skydome that's more light blue and has the sun in it. It has clouds in it (very little clouds, yes) because I couldn't find a skydome that has no clouds and has the sun. It looks pretty good. The skydome blotted out a few things in the background, but what are you gonna do?

Wow, it feels so good to tell someone (other than my family) about something like this! I hope I didn't leave anything out! Well, peace out!!
