Beautiful piece. I tried the tut by Satania but was not pleased with the results, a few instructions were hard to grasp. Perhaps the params from Kattvinge will help. Thank you for including them!

Great colors. When I made something similar, with Splits, ([link] ), I couldn't get great colors like this. How do you add more than one color?

Thanks for the comment. As for the colors, you have to play with three elements: the gradient, the color tab and the xaos tab (not used here). Just to make it clearer I have added the parameters so you can see it by yourself.

Shit, this is awesome! This is something I'd see in a cathedral or something. I love how it looks like stained glass. Wouldn't this be a spin off of the split tutorial I have seen?

Thanks for the comment and yes, it is a spin-off of the basic splits-elliptic tutorial by Fiery and Satania, eliminating the cylinders thus the ribbons and adding a flat triangle to draw a thin line around the shapes.
I have added my params just in case you want to play with them.

I was going through the split-curl combo tutorial last night, and came up with a nice looking fractal. Haven't put it up yet because I have to render it!
