Description
Hey everyone! I know I'm about 1 month late of my first submission of 2018 but here's my first submission of 2018! Thought I'd share what I've been working on for the past few months.Yes I watch Kill la Kill and Yes I ship Ryuko Matoi and Mako Mankanshoku together (Also I ship Satuski with Nonon. But that's a different story for later). I'm so happy that this couple is canon in the series. It's just something unquie to see in an anime.
Enjoy and I hope to finish this soonish. All I need to do is color the bench and the background.

Yes. This was the scene that basically confirms it.

As far as I recall, that took place in Mako's imagination?

No. It was real. They kissed.

Got a youtube clip? I'm fairly sure the ending scene just had them going out as friends?
(Mind you, I'd loveΒ for it to be true, I ship it.)

No. It was a real date. If it weren't real, they'd say "A Girl's Outing". It's obvious that it's a date.

Okay. So... the part where Mako and Ryuko is out on a date, as far as I recall, was in Mako's imagination. Is there evidence to the contrary?

It wasn't in Mako's imagination. Are you talking about scene? Or the final episode's ending? Both were all real.

Well... it's been a while, but what I remember is:Β
Toward the end, Mako says "let's go on a date", has that imagine spot where she winds up kissing Ryuko; this part is clearly imaginary. Then as the series ends, she, Ryuko and Satsuki are all shown going out together in what looks like a friends' outing. I'm not sure where this confirms Ryuko and Mako as an item.

It does. That last scene does show Ryuko and Mako out on their date. And they so happen to run into Satuski.

That is a possible interpretation, sure, but that's a far cry from confirmed canonical status. Like I said, I'd be delighted if it was shown to be true, and I 100% believe it's a reasonable way to look at it, but it's not confirmed AFAIK.
