Looks great
But one thing you might want to do
is color certain areas in one direction
instead of going all over the place.
Also, I think it helps if you go over
the lines in a darker colors.
That way, the coloring can look a bit more prominent

Great start on trying traditional media. One thing I would suggest is to make the lineart darker. I know its the sketch I did but you can go over it with a black pen or darken the lines before printing. 
Shading would be nice too. Keep experimenting with different medias. You could always try something other than colouring pencils
