Very nice. Any tips on how to draw lighting on clothes/skin in general?

depends the type of lighting and how it's reflecting. in general you want to try and keep the direction of the light source consistent . not too bright and a try and get a soft blendΒ from light to dark.

none. i tend to use the paper for highlights. keeps the surface smoother and less muddy that way. if i need white for the brightest highlights, i like acrylic white paint, or daler rowney pro white.

Alright, that's a lot of help for me, but since I have never used paint and markers in multimedia (I usually try to do markers/colored pencils) is there a certain brand of brush that is better for highlights like this?

lots of brushes out there to use. i like winsor newton series 7 and dick blick master brushes in size 2or 3. with brushes though, it's always best to try a few out to see what works best for you.

Just to let you know the piece arrived safely and securely and it is currently in a frame on my wall! The scan does not do it justice!!! it looks 10 times better (if thats even possible!!) in the flesh (as it were) I would recommend to anyone thinking about getting a commission to get one!!
