Woot! 'Nother picture done with! Discord with his snappy chaos fingers and Eris with her Khaos Apple
I've been trying to think of stuff to draw all week in school, whenever I had the free time to use my mind for something other than equations and critical thinking. I came up with some ideas, 2 of which were pictures and the other 2 being comic concepts. I say concepts because I haven't quite figured out the details of the comics yet. I wanna try to get one of em out before the 30th so I can enter a contest.
So anyway, while looking for references for Eris, I found out that Discord already had a genderbend who's name was Eris. I'm guessing that means other people already made the connection my picture entails. Twas a little bummed out my idea didn't seem so original, but oh well. Guess my ideas can't all be original.
Sorry for the lazy background too, I went and used 3 layers of color blends to make it, but I know most prefer actual, foreground and background images. Too bad I didn't have any idea what to draw in the background.

It's nothing but failed slapstick IMO. There is no substance... at least cartoons such as Invader Zim made you think. I'm not saying cartoons have to indoctrinate (aka "educational programming"), but they don't have to be completely retarded either.

"No point whatsoever"? The show is particularly character-driven without an ongoing important plot. Without a driving plot, that allows the characters to do a multitude of things. It's a show for KIDS, and it's good compared to nowadays Spongebob and gag-me-with-a-spoon Uncle Grandpa.Β The show is funny to me because of Mandy's sarcasm and wit (and maybe a bit of her sadism), Grim's similar wit but also his torture and his reaction to that torture, and sometimes Billy's stupidness. You can't appreciate that, then it's fine that you don't. Just don't insult it because you don't understand it.

Well it was a weird cartoon sure, but that's why I liked it. I grew up with those 2. I'm sure you grew up with the classics which is why your opinion as is. But it was a good cartoon nonetheless.

Invader Zim was my favorite. See, that one made you THINK, which is RARE for a cartoon these days. I would argue Rocko's Modern Life, but the puns were WAAAY over my head when I was young. Plus, it was still pretty dark humor.
