Aww, this is a sweet pic of Homer, Lisa, and Maggie hugging each other. I also love the Mario-themed caps both Lisa and Maggie are wearing, especially since the letters on their caps matches with their names, and I'm a big Super Mario Bros. fan.

I love that how many times Homer will slip-up, he'll still be there for his wife and kids. And I've always loved the relationship between Lisa and Homer more than between Homer and Bart (kind of a sweet daddy-daughter bond). This drawing just made me go "aww!" all of a sudden when I first saw it. You also manged to replicate Matt Groening's style almost perfectly (when I try to do it, it always comes out bad or like Simon Tofeld's style). Nice touch with the Mario/Luigi hats on Lisa and Maggie BTW.

Yes, even though there was tough times with Homer and his kids/wife but he always try his best to be a great father/husband. I love it when Homer & Lisa are bonding with each other in some episodes as well.

Well, just practice. I've been drawing Simpsons characters for almost two years. When I first started drawing Simpsons characters, they looked a little different back the time. Here's how I draw Lisa: I usually start with the eyes & nose first, then the mouth, then the neck/pearl necklace/ear, and then the spikes. For the spikes, here's how the animators do it: first draw a circle so you can determine her round head, then draw three spikes from her eyes to the top, then draw another three spikes for the other side, then finally two more spikes for the bottom. Since I draw her with the Luigi hat, the hat only covers four of her spikes.

There is a very helpful book in the US called "Simpsons Handbook". It shows you how to draw Simpsons characters.

Also do you have a 3DS? If so, can I have your friend code? There's a program on the 3DS called "Swapnote"(US name) where you can draw and send notes to your 3DS friends. One of my notes shows you how I usually draw Lisa & Maggie with the Mario Bros hats.
