So I rewatched ATLA and guess who caught my... interest... :^)
Gotta love those villains.
Anyway, this is vaguely inspired by one weird shipping fanfic where, in short, Ozai was beginning to regain his bending abilities after a time during his imprisonment.
Now, what would an additional lack of mental stability (sanity doesn't seem to run particularly strong in Zuko's family either way), ever-present power-hungriness and a long time in isolation do to a man who proclaimed himself Phoenix King...?
