Aka the professional sniper VS the angry roller gal
The last Nintendo Direct revealed that Peach is rank X in Splatoon 2, with 23 kills in the last match, apparently. Though, she also got splatted twice, and this is what one of the instances might have looked or felt like.
Pauline indeed fights with a roller (my preferred weapon class); what's your favourite weapon in Splatoon?

Call my old fashioned, but the Splattershot family is my main.
Second place are the Splat Dualies. I'm trying to practice more with the Octo Brush and Splatterscope

Because of the sub-weapons and specials?
In Splatoon 1, I always love to play with the Krak-On Splat roller; I can't really handle brushes though.
Tbh, I'm completely unfamiliar with dualies because I don't own Splatoon 2

Ah. Well for the Splattershots, yeah. They're easy to use and basically the jack of all trades for ink weapons.
And Splatoon 2 is really solid. Lots of polish from Splatoon 1. Though sadly we have to pay for the online multiplayer.

Well during the first year and half i owned the Switch, online was free so no thankfully. Sadly I will eventually once I beat Octo Expansion to use the Octoling online.

As for my favorite weapon...I'm not sure. Oftentimes, I tend to focus more on sub-weapons and specials. I like weapons with curling bombs because they allow me to move far and fast and refill ink at the same time. I also like the Splashdown special, so I try and get those.
But as for main weapons, I'm not sure. It changes constantly. Some days I'll be killing it with a roller, but then I'll start sucking with it later on and switch it up. I like dualies too because I can dodge and move quickly, but I have trouble aiming them at enemies (aiming in general is a problem for me that I need to work on). Lately I've been having a lot of luck with the basic Splattershot. I've been getting in decent kills and being MIP in Turf Wars with it. I like the combination of a decent range, good damage output, and Splashdown as a special. Only problem is I can't move very fast and the ink can be tricky to aim at times.

I personally have two weapon classes I usually stick with; the rollers and the aerosprays, though I mostly use the aerosprays when the stages are rather unfit for rollers.
Just sometimes, when I'm in the mood for it, I try completely different weapons for fun.

She probably would; which is why I'd like her on my team 
I haven't tried aerosprays yet, but I do like the rollers. I especially favor the Carbon Roller (because it's fast), and the Splat Roller (because it has my favorite special and sub-weapon). I also try out different weapons on occasion (done quite well with the Sploosh-o-Matic and Blaster).

God, it can get extremely frustrating to play against so op people; that's why it's so satisfying when you do finally get to splat them, even if it's only once. xD
The Carbon Roller may be fast, but it takes 2 flings to kill an opponent (at least in S1 that was the case). I always liked to camp and surprise attack people, so I prefered a roller that kills them before they even get to counter. xD I also mained the Krak-On Splat roller in S1 because of the (formerly) op special, the Kraken.
The aerosprays are really efficient when it comes to both, colouring the ground, and splatting enemies; they're pretty useful in any mode.

Yeah it can get frustrating to say the least, but you're also right in that splatting them can be pretty darn satisfying
Yeah, I found out the hard way that I can't just roll over people with the Carbon Roller because it may be faster, but it's weaker 
Speaking of Splatoon 1, I wonder how many people are going to return to that game in the advent of the paid online. I've heard that even though hacking is an issue, it's not as bad as people think. I'm not gonna lie, I'm kinda interested, even though I don't have a Wii U. I think it'd be funny if Nintendo looks and sees a sudden resurgence in Splatoon 1

I like using dualities, but I also like aerospray RG, Neo Splash-o-matic, and octo brush for ranked.
Also I kinda like the bloblobber.

The aerospray RG is definitely amongst my favourite weapons as well; I also like the MG because of its special.
Do you own Splatoon 1 too, or just 2? Playing Splatoon 2 online now is kinda an obstacle

I kinda "own" splatoon 1 but.. my wii u is hacked, and all games are hum, pirated
I wanted to play Splatoon 1 but I cant because of that reason.
I had some money on my eshop, so I bought the online, since Splatoon 2 is the only game I'm playing these days :/ I kinda regret tho, now I cant buy new games... -_-

No I can't play online because I cant update my wii u system because of the hack.l I also dont own a original copy of Splatoon 1.
