Kid Flash All Wrapped Up (part 1)
Kid Flash raced into a lab that was rumored to be the lair of Plastik, the villain who was a master of creating polymer traps. Entering the lab, Kid Flash raced through the rooms looking for Plastik, but he was no where to be found. Kid Flash confronted one of the technicians, “Tell me! Where’s Plastik hiding?” But the technician just looked confused.

“He doesn’t know”, said a familiar voice behind Kid Flash. Turning, he saw a plainly dressed technician, but one wielding what looked like a thick-barreled water soaker gun. “What is that?”, questioned our hero. “Something designed just for you, Kid Pain-in-the-Flash”, retorted the technician, and the gun doused Kid Flash in a mysterious liquid substance.

The liquid quickly congealed into something like plastic wrap that wrapped around his body. It was also very cold, and he felt it seep quickly into his costume. “What is this?”, gasped Kid Flash.

“I call it my Speedster Wrap, and it will soon immobilize you in a neat package!” It was then Kid Flash realized this was no ordinary technician but Plastik in disguise. Our hero immediately flexed his youthful muscles and pushed against the substance, but it was pliable enough to just flex with his thrashing. “Here, have some more!” Jeered Plastik, as he sprayed more on Kid Flash. The sticky material clung to him tenaciously, and he soon found himself cocooned in it.

As Kid Flash strained to free himself, Plastik reached in and clipped a capsule on the back of Kid Flash’s neck. He felt a needle pierce his skin and immediately became nauseous and weak. “What…is…that?”, he gasped. Plastik gloated, “It’s my Speedster Sapper. It releases a compound that will prevent you from tapping into the Speedforce. There’ll be no running away from this for you…literally!”

Kid Flash could feel his superspeed powers draining away. He felt ordinary and could only feebly struggle against the plastic wrap binding his body and limbs. His breath even came out in gasping gulps as the drug spread throughout his body.

Then Plastik laughed, “And as if blocking your powers isn’t enough, I want you to suffer for the indignities you’ve caused me in the past when you’ve defeated my glorious schemes! The Speedster Wrap will not only bind you, but as it dries it will shrink and squeeze you. Let’s see if it’s strong enough to crush your bones…I think it is!”

And so Kid Flash was left to squirm futilely. The Speedster Wrap kept tightening around him, and it soon felt like a vice around every part of his body. As it got harder to breathe, Kid Flash felt consciousness slipping away…
