I found this little guy at the Elounda beach, a gorgeous and quiet place you have to visit if you go to Crete! It was very friendly and let me take a couple of pictures without being too shy and hiding inside the shell
and after that of course I threw it again in the water.Enjoy

Nice photo. I like hermit crabs
The one time we went to the beach, my family collected a whole lot of "empty" shells. During the night, the shells started walking around on the table and making little scritching noises. That was freaky. Had to take them all back to the sea.
