I decided to draw an updated design of Crystil for WACOM's 4th Anime/Manga Character Design Contest , which was to design a monster. I don’t think that I stand much of a chance, but I'd thought that I would give it a shot.

Took my exactly three days to complete, personally though I don’t think it’s my best design, but hey it’s something for the Folio. In heignsight I’m actually quite proud of how the totem thing she’s sitting on came out.

I tried quite a few new things with this piece, like atmospheric perspective, and improving my lighting overall.

I had a bit of a probel when trying to get the dpi down to 72, but with a little help from Damien (~lowman-x ), it was swiftly fixed.
So I hope I win, as I really need a new tablet and the Moral boost.
