See her first team wasn't all that hard for me at least. But when I faced this team she destroyed my Flygon and Magnezone, and if it wasn't for some lucky critical hits and well placed substitutes I would have been finished myself.

i figure once they use legendaries its a pain in the ass to handle.I really just got lucky that my last pokemon Kangaskhan has parental bond as its mega ability, had Outrage and was able to takeout primeape, pachirisu, and persian with just that move. (the lumineon got killed with my infernape and drapion by the earthquake primeape made, which was a relief, don't think i could takeout 4 pokemon with one kangaroo)

Haha yeah she had all three of the legendary dogs but Flygon was able to deal with Raikou and Latios (MAgnezone did next to nothing though). I'm lucky I started with Whimsicott and was able to baton pass cotton guard onto Infernape. That allowed me to tank a hit from Entei and I got a critical hit using thunderpunch on Suicune so I kinda fluked out. THe first time I just used tyranitar and Garchomp and basically swept. Idk why I got rid of them...

yea

and considering my teamsusually don't even make it to the 20th battle usually i don't think i'd ever make it to see those legendaries, the closest i'll get is in the multibattles where apparently one of the partner choices gives me cresselia

Lol in those I team up with one of my friends so that we can coordinate what we want to do. I use to use a team using Delphox, Lapras, and Venusaur. That got me to like 6 straight wins at most so I had to switch it up. I would try experimenting to see what kind of teams you can make (And like) it worked for me.

i don't got that luxury anymore [the friends i got in my current campuses (its  a college with multiple campues) dont seem to be pokemon players like the friends i have in my original closer campus] but when i do again i'll be sure to try a team up

but yea that's what i did recently, eperiment with different teams

i got like 3 1/2 teams that i've made (the half one is still stuck in my white game....)

my first being the story mode team: braixen, blastoise, gogoat, aegislash, aurorus, and dragalge

a secondary team similar in build somehow: chesnaught, gengar, charizard, aggron, salamance, gyarados

and then a third team which shows a lot of promise despite having one of my worst enemies to face XD: infernape, greninja (<- worst enemy to face), venusaur, kangaskhan, ampharos and drapion

and the unova team that'll come when pokebak comes outside of japan: samurott, lilligant, damanitan, golurk, zebstrika, and archeops

thouh in the maison, i have to admit my least favorit pokemon to face have to be sharpedos and sawsbuck

Ahhhh I see. I mostly switch things up now, but I more often then not go with either Infernape or Scizor on my teams. They make good leads or are great for setting up.

for my third team i figured to start with Drapion so she can set up toxic spikes (which works as long as there isn't another poison type or a rapid spinner) and so far it seems to work fine

They're two minor Legendaries, though. The Pseudo-Legendaries are stronger. Honestly, I'd be much more concerned to face things like Dragonite and Metagross.
