The highlights on his shoulder and on those trees are really what polish this piece to the next level. It adds an extra level of detail and creepiness to the scene. Love the color palette here as well. Many artists go for contrast, but you kind of have a palette that fits everything together in this toned-down, but still vivid manner.

XD that's exactly what I was talking about. I mean, yeah, GIMP Is a good program, just really derpy with a drawing tablet. Plus, my brother gave an older version of photoshop lol. It's not just the programs I use, it's me. To be honest, I still play around with a black/dark canvas to play around for the effects.

That's an amazing drawing, and it's great how the Chandelure is belt solid like in the games and artwork as opposed to the very freeform style most people do for it.
