This is an excellent recreation of an excellent prop from a cinematic masterpiece.
Have you seen the actual model used in the movie at the National Air And Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Washington D.C.? If not, you should.
I've seen Close Encounters Of The Third Kind at least 10 times, and it does not get old. In fact, I will admit that I cried at the end the last two times I saw it. I think that it is Steven Spielberg's greatest cinematic achievement.

Thanks for the feedback, and no I haven't seen the actual model. I went by pictures from the movie and also from the web. A lot were from the NASM. I've seen the movie a thousand times over and it never gets old
