Sort of an A Square's view of a cauliflower passing through his plane world. Pretty neat!

Not long before A Square wrote Flatland, Weierstrass showed (1872) that there were continuous functions that were non-differentiable everywhere.

So it's not a stretch that he could have imagined such a cauliflower, a 2D surface with similar properties. But maybe it was too wretched to even contemplate such a shape.
