so here are the inks for my autobot pic i did a little while ago.this time i polished up the background and made the buildings more tolerable for me to look at.
the pencil ones i just roughed in, so they weren't as good as i would have liked. but now there a bit better.
anyways, this is my take on the new transformers ongoing comic that idw is making.
it was just fun to work on something that wasn't movie related.
even if these designs are influenced by the movie.

I love it. It breaks from the mold (both traditional and movie), but still feels consistent with the nature of the characters. Great composition too.

thanks. i enjoyed working on it. after i finished it, i wanted to add more to it. like add a couple more pages and make it a larger image, but i didn't set it up that way. maybe i'll do another one that i can have it like that??? i'll have to see.

Would it be ok for me to try colouring this when I've cleared my massive to-do list? (Might take 3 months or a year...)

i will think about it. there are a lot of people who want to colour this. i wonder why people would want to go through that hell???

Personally, and this is just me, it's a hobby. A friend got me into it, he's persuing a career, for me it helps release stress as I don't drink etc and stay home with my kids a lot. The highlighting and shading is quite theraputic for me.
So what you call hell, I call home.
Only without being Rambo...

depends on the picture. if i'm not familiar with the characters, then i will spend longer on them. usually i can do a picture like this in a day. that is if i'm not lazy.

I like it. While I do like Dan's current art style for the movie comics, I just don't think it fits with the G1 inspired universe. I like how you found a happy medium between them.
