Now, see, this is a Devastator I can take seriously as a threat. As the original TV series rolled on, the first gestalt became less and less credible as a menace, eventually getting taken out by Perceptor of all 'bots.
THIS, now, reminds me why Kup shat himself when he saw the Constructicons merging during the Battle of Autobot City.

And I thought the lineart was badass! Both the lineart and the colors are AMAZING! I love how far he went with the colors even for the buildings in the background.

Holy Hell man......wow. I guess i shouldnt be suprised with two of my favorite artists and a gestalt but...holy shit. tho he isnt my favorite combiner i love the way you draw him. myself having construction background I love seeing mechanical details like the counterweights and block-and-tackle on Hook......do you use reference pics from real life vehicles or do it from memory?

i was using some reference pics off the internet, but i couldn't find ones i really liked.
but i was using some pics to make the vehicle parts look more real.
