yeah this is art from tf, energon number 32, which was the last thing i worked on before dreamwave closed down.i guess i feel like i want to share this with you now. it's not like this art will every see the light of day, so why not share it.

They'd never be able to finish it since there were too many legal issue around payments and use of artwork and scripts to finish the series out.

Pat Lee's entire scheme for Dreamwave just... it's not a big wonder the company tanked... and quite honestly, I'd been looking forward to seeing how the Energon series would turn out... as if the loss of Age of Wrath wasn't bad enough, we lost out on this too!

Man I wish that you had some more energon issues under your belt....man your art was awesome in those books.....I'll never forget that 2 page sequence of slugslinger,sharkticon, and mirage in energon 27 you did....one of the most impressive peices of tf art I have ever seen......I hope you post more unpublished energon goodies......

i would if i had the color files to go along with some of the b&w's. but i look at most of it, and now i'm not happy with it. i try and look forward these days. maybe one day i'll post them in the scarps, but when i have the spare time to scan the pages.

i tried to see every little detail, but there were just so many... a great picture. very dynamic and bold.

Judging from the look of the pages, I think Mr. Furman would've make an awesome finale to the series. I just hopefully someday it's completed....by IDW. *crosses fingers*

i always wonder why you guys ink the characters but leave the background in pencil. i guess i never really noticed that on comic pages until i started seeing you, joe, and don's dw stuff.
anyways... always loved your style in the energon books, alex. the detail is awesome!

thanks. the characters are inked in to try and give the book an animation feel. thats why the bg's aren't inked.
