this was the other sketch i did for the infestation sketchbook by IDW. this time they asked me to draw a zombie prime. well, this was epic fun for me. i decided to go with the current ongoing prime design for this image since i wanted to do something current with the IDW transformers universe.it was loads of fun turning prime into a zombie. making pipes and coils as guts spewing from his lower torso. also making his eyes rounded added a bit of a crazy demonic feel to him which i think help with the uncomfortable feeling i need to get across.
again, tons of fun, and i thank IDW for giving me 2 of this images to work on.
it's also sweet that these images are on the cover to the sketchbook as well. a nice little treat for me there

Creepy Prime is creepy. O.O Certainly don't wanna meet him in a dark alley anywhere, that's for sure. Of course, then again... There's always the sideline "My pet Zombie Prime" story arc where Spike/Sam has a pet zombie he takes care of, who just happens to be a giant alien robot. XD Saw a commercial for a show where a kid had a pet zombie he lead around on a leash like a dog, one of the random kids networks on cable was running it. Thus the idea.

I should really go buy the comic, really curious to how robots can be infected by normal zombies XD
But this is a really wonderful piece of artwork, it's beautifully grimy and reminds me of G2 amounts of brutality, well deserving of a fave.
Also I was wondering do you mind if I have a go at colouring this beast?

you probably know, there was a zombie outbreak story in the Marvel UK continuity?
Can't remember exactly but it was something to do with a corrupted shard of the matrix, reanimating Transformers. Impactor, the leader of the Wreckers, came back as a zombie!
