so i've been itching to put this up ever since it was done, but i couldn't.however, since botcon put this on there site, i guess now i can show it off.
this is the boxart for the exclusive set for this year.
i like the way it came out. i think josh did an excellent job coloring this.

I love Don's work, but I think that an evil mirror universe needs to be handled with a little bit of irony... or tongue in cheek. If you see what I mean... Works well in the old Star Trek because it was such an over-the-top series, while in the more understated DS9 it just seemed... stupid. Y'know?

Well, yeah... granted I haven't seen that episode in a long time, but still why do "evil" versions of the heros ALWAYS have goatees and scars? You don't see the Decepicons with goatees and constantly COVERED in battle damage do you?
I dunno, I guess I just don't like the concepts of "good" and "evil." Unless it's something like He-man... I dunno...
Anyways, awesome work! Makes me wish I had the money to get that set.
