just another head sketch i've done for botcon 2010.this time it's off the big green combiner.
guess we won't see him around in the idw comics for a while if ever again.

I'm still puzzled as to what his eyes actually should look like. I mean if you take a look at G1 animations they always interchanged between this laser eyed version, and the normal eyed version...hmmm...maybe devestator just has a pair of shades in his back pocket.

it has some good stuff going on. i like seeing how you've got some of the colours from the movie devastator in this design, but keeping a G1 feel to the over all robots. i'd like to take a stab at drawing it when you have it finished.

I'm italian, so I don't really get the meaning of "take a stab"
But if you wanna know the colours, the other arm (Mixmaster) is in grey and beije colour scheme, dark grey, like the movie one, the left leg is green and the right leg is yellow.
The hands, and the other parts of the coloured right arm not yet coloured are grey, like the colours of the Devastator drawn by me in Optimus Vs Devastator V2, the art shown in the first page of my gallery.

I wouldn't say we've seen the last of him. They might just substitute in someone else (the tech seems to allow for that seeing as how the combiner teams weren't intially designed for that express purpose) or maybe, if enough Contructicons get wasted then they may just create him into a single being and scavenge the parts from the dead guys...
