I love the Megatron Origins comic I have. One of my favorite scenes is when the first encounter with the Seekers came. I remember reading a scene where Starscream mentioned that there was a time he idealized Megatron. It leads me to believe this is where that encounter happened.

Even I like that there are moments when Megatron and Starscream aren't always about blowing each other up.

the megatron origins is a 4 issue mini series by idw. they also dothe spotlights on one character.

Thinner inked lines applied to the characters further in back and a lighter color choice could have helped the separation problems. But we did what we could(I couldn't go too light with my separation layers without pushing Megatron WAAAAY too far into the distance- though I didn't use a different color for pushing the more backish' people into the back- time constraints and all). If these books weren't rush jobs, I coulda certainly outlined the characters in some sense to push them into the background/foreground- whichever was needed.

well, i could have done things while inking also to help the sep, but i didn't have the time, or the pens to do it, so it is what it is, and its still pretty good to me. we always look back and say we could have done better, but at least its not a pile of crap.

Haha- yeah... too bad that it's easier for you than me! I'll admit, thinner lines coulda helped- but I gotta look at ugly colors XD!!! Aaah... maybe we'll get to do an SD book? I want to persuade Chris into lettin me do a fun, SD book. Nothing serious, just light-hearted humor. A break from the seriousness.

I would personally suggest trying to find a way to seperate the 2 main subjects in panel 2 and 3 a little bit more.
I had to reallly lookk hard at panel 3 to figure out what was going on..the guy sitting *gets decked by TF fans but does a hardcore nun dropkick to save self at last moment*
Anyway, that guy (what'shisname) I can tell out clearly but the kneeling guy (megatron?) was harder for me to read.
The last 3 panels are delicioussss.
