this is my combo of an ongoing prime, with the classic G1 prime.i like the way this one turned out.
always fun to work on prime, just eats up my markers when coloring him

You are the MASTER of combining styles! This is fantastic!
Ok, the established demi-gods like Roche and Don Fig etc. are up on the high altar of Transformer art. I can't help but love their work. But when it really comes down to brass tacks, you're my favorite TF artist! You fill in all of the "gaps" left in the other styles (yes, even of the demi-gods) and give such well-rounded work! Nick Roche is a lot like this as well. Both of you produce Transformers that have balanced figures, nothing overly too big or too small. What really makes your art stick out is the way that you can combine styles with such panache. And yet your own unique style still shines through.
And in your comic work your backgrounds are to die for. And now that I'm taking art classes and struggling to produce a freakin' BOX in proper perspective I have even more appreciation for your incredible skill. You're a very well-rounded artist with amazing work in all areas.
Don't get me wrong ~ I'm not in the habit of overly nit-picking the work of other Transformers artists. They are all very good! Yours just really truly rocks. Please tell me you'll be drawing more TF comic books????

Holy crap dude, I am jealous of your marker skills! I like how you did the shading and coloring strokes. And I think I see some white-out or bleach markers, correct? But yeah, you make Optimus Prime "Awesomemus Prime" X3

I know. My poor crimson red. Although I bet you go through your carmine faster -- or whatever the Copic equivalent is -- since you always make your TFs so shiny. Highlights are HARD!! Have you ever found a good instruction book or demo on how to do shiny metal reflections correctly? I end up coloring them grungy all the time, just to get out of doing very many highlights..

i'm not sure if there are any really good books that show you how to do metal properly. guess it's just looking at it, and lots of practice.
