Description
ok, so here is the bot everyone wanted to see according to the poll.let me just say that this one was a bitch to do because of the purple paper. it was so hard to see the lines when i was inking it.
anyways, the original is darker then this, but this is how it looked after it scanned, so i guess if i stand outside when it's sunny the original will look like this.
anyways, i'll probably look for a lighter purple for anyone else i do that is mainly purple, like galvatron.

Wow! I can just imagine how hard it was see the lines. Looks great regardless.
If you ever do use lighter purple paper and try to draw an Armada character I have one in mind .

How dark was the purple cover? It must be hard drawing on it. But it still looks good!!

Looks ace, a bang up job and the darker paper does suit the character.

Looks great! Absolutely love that cannon laser effects. So shiny!
And have you ever tried to draw on black paper? I once had 'gothic' notebook with black pages. It was fun to draw at with bright (white, yellow, bright green etc) and metallic gel pens. Though I don't know whether copics are visible on black paper...

well that was stuff i did back in school so i don't really want to put it up here since it wasn't the greatest. i was just letting you know that i've worked with black paper before. there aren't too many things from school i'd put up besides what i have already.

Now all we need to do is to put him in that awesome pose on a comic cover with the words 'Are All Dead!'

again, i won't be doing any characters that are mostly white, so no ratchet. sorry.

I have to say these have been great this series of pictures. It's not often that we get to see you try your hand at the old school G1 stuff (It's always some variation on that such as Megs Origin, IDW Style, Movie stuff) so it really is nice to see your approach to the old school.
There have all been brilliant, but hey, you already u knew that!!

Ohhhh God yeah, this is like...jism to the max, you did a brilliant job on him and I think it looks fine with the purple background et cetera, he looks so good, very well done! You made him look extremely powerful as well! Love it! And I'm glad that there is some more Shockwave on here, he needs so much more attention! I love you for this.

All of these are truly a spectacular series - I totally love them.
Vector Sigma - and are you doing these so quickly considering the details! That just adds awesome to the already awesomeness that is there.
Not to be an ass-kisser, but so true.

I just say, you gave da TF-fans exactly what they wanted. Atleast me for shure.
I was kinda hoping for a shockwave, and entered your poll for it two. I am glad he turned out more bad-ass then I expected!!
And yeah, dark papers are a biatch... *has experience*
Eighter way you turn it, its once again, very nice coloring work!

A lighter purple would probably suit Galvatron; Shockwave's a bit darker in shade (or hue?).

It amazes me how this detail and such a great pose can come out of anybodies head. Do you use any type of model when you begin these drawings, or has it become second nature to just do detailed mecha?

i just draw them off the top of my head these days. i'll look at my reference book to make sure i have all the parts looking right, but details and stuff like that is all out of my head. i guess i can do these guys in my sleep.
