Thank you! That was my first one, but i will be doing many more! I used reference images of a spider and a futuristic soldier then kind of went from there.

A good tip is once you have found the images you can collage them together in photoshop then all you have to do is paint what you see

well see the problem for me right now is all i have is pencil and pen. limited on supplies where i currently am. and ill be here for about 7 more months. how long have you been drawing, and how long does it take you to do something like this?

Well, drawing traditionally i have done it all my life, digitally like this i have done it for about a year , nothing beats a pen for concept design, go on youtube and type in Scott Robertson go on his channel and watch all his videos... He is a god!

dude no way! ive watched a ton of his stuff. infact, the book im using right now is a How To Draw book by him. the techniques are way complex. i end up getting frustrated and giving up. or it takes me all day to understand one single concept. how long did it take you to get good at tradition pencil or pen?

Well i have been drawing all my life, but it is only in the last 3 years since i started college that i have seen a huge huge improvement

where do you go to college? i would be in college right now if i werent in the army so im trying my best to track and compare my progress to others. its my dream to go CCS in detroit michigan though.

How old are you? I'm sure it is possible for you to go straight to uni, I go to oldham college in England, nothing special, you can only make yourself better, I think I have heard of that CCS? What is it exactly?

19. and my contract is not up for another 2 and a half years, so until then I can not go to a design college. CCS is college for creative study in detroit michigan. are you trying to be a designer for a company in the future?
