For today's practice painting I tried to recreate a scene from The Searchers again. Started out as a speed painting but then I caught up trying to get the likeness right, spent maybe 3 hours on this piece, but I'm fairly happy with the face. Been a long time since I've done any portrait work so I'm surprised it looks anything at all like him. All done in Painter 12.
