The group that accept it, MLP-Bronies-Group likes to focus on mostly ponies from the show MLP though if there's a strong resemblance or if it's easy to tell the human character is based off the pony ones we let them in. In this case, it wasn't that easy.

I'm not a fan of Hasbro, I love how one simple show has lead to so much wonderful fan art and fan fictions. Hasbro has shut down two great Tumblr blogs which enrages me. I hope all artist and writers continue to make wonderful fan art like this. I don't want to crush any creativity.

It's personal but I dislike Twilight and her alicorn state. I was happy we didn't heavily focus on her being a princess. Though now that she's to get her own kingdom. I'm just upset again. Like with Twilicorn. Season 4 was a happy surprise for me but now it might be a flop.

It just seems you hate twilight being an alicorn. And well one of the flaws of the show is that the title of princess is treated as a form of leader in their universe when dating back princess is just a secondary title to the king and queen of a land. The king and queen called all the shots. The princess and princess were just suppose to take their place once they died or got too old.

I've never liked her much to begin with, since I feared the show would put focus on Twilight once she became a princess. I love all the characters even if I love more than others. I won't accept Twilicorn as cannon and ignore it in my fan fictions but I won't bash her or anyone who loves her. That's unfair and I won't do it, though seeing her with a kingdom just upsets me for my own reason. Even if they find a good plot story/arch in the fifth season then fine, but if I'm finally pushed out of the fandom because of that, then it'll be my own fault. Not the writers.

well she is the main character and she has been handle well. I can understand dropping a series if the main character is just unlikable, but she isn't naruto or ichgio. Hell she isn't cloud either when you compare her to other main character in animated media she is one of the better ones. Also why not put focus on a big thing happening to a main character. that's like the writers of DBZ showing Goku finally going SSJ for the first time but then randomly cutting to Chichi screaming at gohan to do his homework. Everything has a focus and to fear something that is not only obvious and kind of common is forgetting who the show is built around. I mean when naruto finally master how to control the nine tails fox they focus on him they didn't randomly cut to Sakura finally figuring out how worthless she is.

I guess I can't have focus revolve around Twilight since she's only part of the series that I love. I love all the characters, since they're all important. They all contribute to the show and it's magic. Having the focus on Twilight, to me, feels like being force fed a food I hate. I don't want to continue this if this turns into an argument because as I said, this is my problem to deal with and I don't want to argue about it with you.

Sigh. I thought the show jumped the shark the end of season 3. Then season 4 surprised me and I was happy. I feel like they're doing it again somehow. I'm conflicted.

Season 3's short ending and EqG was too much and it's the reason why the fandom started to die out. Then season 4 came and BOOM! But we may face a problem with season 5. I mean if Twilight is given her own kingdom, that just might be the breaking point for all. I mean, if you lose the older fans who support the show greatly and find ways to increase the fandom better than the younger fans, they're in trouble.

Well...it wasn't a surprise to be me....it was like," Well DHX has to pick up the pieces so it's good they are taking their time." Season 4 is the product so taking your time and not rushing something out unfinished and unpolished." But yeah the fandom did start to die out no lie. Also I don't think season 5 will be bad at all and Twi getting her own kingdom won't reach any breaking point and ailcorn bashers and haters just gotta put up with it and realize," SHE IS THE MAIN CHARACTER." everyone that hates on ailcorn like someone else of the mane 6 and can't understand she is the main character. Every show has one. Stop worrying man and enjoy the ride besides we gotta stomach EqG 2...that will be worst than anything season 5 does.

I guess they are taking their time with this one instead of rushing season 3 to an end which messed it up greatly. Season four is trying to piece things back together. But for me, Twilight isn't THE main character like it seems you're saying she is. Yes she's a main character to the plot of the story but so are her friends. They're THE main characters of the show and where the show revolves around it. Though since we have to deal with a second EqG season 5 will be all the better.

dude it was already made clear by episode 1 of season 1 evne in plot breakdowns they all start off with," My little pony friendship is magic follows Twilight sparkle..." and go on from there. she is the main character. And that is final. Her characters are more or less support characters that are given more screen time than usual. I'm an RD fan, but Ts is my second favorite and I get this. I mean what you just said could be said for naruto, bleach, and many other anime. the only one that does what you said is one piece. Β

This is why I wanted to end this soon, it would turn into an argument and I don't want to see that happen over something that started out of something simple. So I'll say my bit and ask that we end this. I don't want to escalate since I don't want to argue with MLP fans. If Twilight is he main character she would be able solve the problems by herself. Though in friendship there is no one person who brings everyone together or is the best or main person of the group. All contribute to the group of friendship so saying Twilight is the main character of the whole show ruins the friendship lessons they're trying to pass. And if Twilight wants to do anything or continue her training she'll need her friends, who've learned valuable lessons and helped Pony Vile, the Crystal Empire, and Equestria. Twilight isn't the main character, the six ponies are. The End. Good night.
