Description
Another piece done a month or so ago... This one's over Chad Hardin, for an upcoming Blue Beetle tpb cover... Chad's a newer guy who did some of those Marvel Masterpiece cards for me. He asked me if I'd ever be interested in inking him, and I was stoked- I really like his work. This one finally came around, and I am really happy with the results.Related content

Awesome work! Your inking is great! Its been a while since I've read the Blue Beetle, so I'll have to check this book out. He's looking better than ever, new costume, too.

meh... it's okay... I mean, it's not :::clicks on "download"::: yowsa!! Kickass.
Always a treat to get to 'see' the art... nothing is more frustrating that a nice piece of art that the scan is too small to appreciate.
long story short... NICE!!

That is just pure fucking awesome. Would both yourself, and the artist mind if I coloured this?

On my end, go for it! Can't speak for Chad, as he's not on here, but doubt he'd mind.

Brush, nib, markers, scotch, beer, etc... It's all on my tools of the trade on my home page here on DA...

You should use whatever tool gets you the result and texture desired.

Both, though more quill than brush. I usually use a variety of tools on all the pages I work on, just depending on where my comfort level is with that particular tool at the time. If the brush is working, I'll jump around on all my pages doing the 'brush' parts that feel fastest and easiest to me, and same with the quill. Really hard for me to do one page all the way through (though sometimes, you just have to if that's all you have!)...
