So do I J!
Have found some more interesting 'nooks & crannies',
and will render them when time allows....

looks like so many polygons! what'd you render this in? great work!

No polygons at all TJ!
It was rendered using 'Mandelbulb 3D' [link] which allows the creation,
exploration and rendering of an almost infinite range of 3D fractal forms.
Give it a try
Thanks for ing too!

Convincingly sandstone-like I ponder the significance of the grinning frog face and mushroom-shaped depressions in the main wall

We can but wonder, perhaps the inhabitants had an obsession with
toad licking, a liking for mushrooms and a great love of smileys?

Hi Mark What do you mean with the 'A' word ? I know he's french like me, and it's not always easy for us to use the right words and sentences in english. DA is a good way for me to improve in this beautiful language. I thought 'awesome' had the same sense as 'wonderful'. Thanks for your answer.

What a great stuff ! as if an ancient civilisation had built all those objects but has disappeared a long time ago. This "landscape" reminds a bit of the old Egypt or the city of Petra in Jordan ! Very good work !

Glad you like it
Yeah, the original immediately suggested an ancient desert situation,
and funnily enough Petra did come to mind!

Have you ever been there, in Egypt or another country with all those great monuments ?
I like much antiquity, architecture and arts at that time mainly, but also all theirs customs and mythology. Those civilizations have set up so many marvellous things...
Surely It's a great source of inspiration for many artists.
I love sci fi too and one of my favourite movies is Stargate. I suppose you too. This mix between past and a far future is gorgeous !
