Description
After some time away, I finally got round to completing Chris Madden's Enterprise-F concept, the Dedication class.
Rendered in 3DS Max Mental Ray with some compositing in Photoshop; the background was also done in Photoshop.

I just don't like the Odyssey class from STO. Perhaps as a Voyager-A, but not an Enterprise. This is much closer to how I'd picture a 1701-F. There's no reason why the Odyssey class can't exist separately.

I can't really see anything other than the Odsyssey class as the Enterprise F anymore. Not because it was the best design in the contest. Far from it, actually. But because it's becoming some an integral part of the STO experience, and new ships coming out with technology based around the tech in her.
That aside, this is definitely a absolutely gorgeous and stately piece of work, with some nice sexy curves which harken back to the constitution class and sovereign. She's loaded with some super nice details. Definitely much sexier than the Odyssey class.
