Excellent shot! How did you decide on 47 seconds for the proper exposure of this scene? I've never really how to expose in bulb mode

Thanks, meter frist at high ISO to get a reading under 30sec then convert, i.e. take a reading at ISO 3200 then exposure is 1.6sec, then convert to ISO 100 which is 7 stops so 50sec, as the light chages rapidly take a little of for that and also for the grad and bingo.
