Description
Our beloved A. lithographica comes as my first 2019 update and second attempt to draw a realistic life size representation of a small dinosaur, this time much smaller than the previous Sinornithosaurus. I'm still pushing the "bird lips" trend (in this case partly inspired by a small jackdaw), in a very relaxed pose reminiscent of the peaceful expression many birds have while sunbathing.

There is not much to say about the animal itself, as I suppose you all know the basis of its supposed biology and the extreme importance of its famous fossils (and the various reactions it generated). The Berlin specimen is as popular and fascinating as a classic piece of art, and... I could not even resist the temptation to own one of its many casts to admire in my home.
