probably. The knife to the throat is too graphic for Disney. I always like to wonder though how much more versatility this show could have if it wasn't on Disney. The possibilities would be endless....

Oh me too! I love Star vs The forces of evil! And yea that is pretty inappropriate. But some parents (and I'm not saying I agree to it) might not freak out at the word turd. But yet if they see a possessed character with a knife to their throat all hell would break loose and disney would be bombarded with hate mail and complaints. It makes no sense but its sadly true.

He sacrificed more than likely the world for his sister, the one he loved the most. You know, if the Matrix did this right, we would have understood Neo's thoughts about saving Trinity, but they're both bland as crap.
These two are not bland. In fact, I think they're two of the most fleshed out characters in anything I've ever seen. Dipper is wise and pretty shy, yet Mable is loud and usually pretty happy. But what I love about them is their ability to step out of their usual character and become a fun guy or a shy girl. Sometimes they can even be angry, and when you have emotions alongside a defined character, then this show has done well.

Wait a second. The cover wouldn't burn that easily. I mean hard book cover are extremely hard to burn (I speak from expericence) plus the book had a bit of metal on it and metal can melt but not burn.
