It's okay Mabel. I felt the same way as you when I first watched Clash of the Titans in High School with the stop-motion Medusa puppet. I swear that she was the worst of all Harryhausen creatures, in a scary way, of course.

Yup, that was my reaction after seeing the previews . Those puppets look like they are made out of human flesh ! It's a shame because I LOVE the design and facial features of Coraline so it seems like they took a step back with Paranorman and now with Boxtrolls , as if Nicktoons came in and told them that they wanted their characters to look a little gross to appeal to the young kids . Plus for me the Movie it' a little too pretentious for me , Yeah don't judge a book by it's cover we seen it already!! oh yeah and he's also a fan of cult monster movies just like you (obvious appeal to cinema nerds) ... please I prefer Super 8 for that fan service or Frankenweenie .
