Given how they're still the best of friends and Dipper is still crushing hard on Wendy, I'm going with Wendy x Dipper. Sooner or later Wendy's gotta realize that Dipper's not gonna stay 12 years old forever.

Cartoon theory, my friend. A main character is most likely to become romantically involved with someone of equal height, age, etc. Add in the fact that she was a former minor-level antagonist with two high-level character development episodes. She is also the only one who seems to treat Dipper like an intellectual equal, while he seems to be the only one to call her down to earth from her rich-person pedestal. Dipper and Pacifica are the best bet for romantic pairing.
Also, considering an entire episode showed Dipper getting over Wendy completely and threw another possible pairing into the fire, there is literally no other choice that could happen.

Dipper said he was over Wendy before, and he never has quite gotten over her. Not to mention that they are the best of friends, and there's already been over a full season worth of development between them; that's gotta lead somewhere. Once again, sooner or later I feel Wendy has to realize that Dipper is not going to stay a little kid forever.
Speaking of which, not all cartoons have characters of "equal height and age"; in Avatar: The Last Airbender, Aang (the main character) was two years younger than his love interest, Katara... and also shorter than her. Like Dipper, he spent half the series wondering if he ever really had a chance with her... and yet, in the end, the two were together, even went on to get married and have three kids as was revealed in sequel, Legend of Korra.
As for Dipper and Pacifica... they barely know each other. They had one episode where they more or less established a casual friendship, and Dipper realized that Pacifica wasn't as bad as he thought. But I feel that this episode was meant to serve the same purpose as "The Golf War", in resolving the conflict between the Pines twins and Pacifica; first with Mabel, and then with Dipper.
Sorry; but I don't see how Dipper x Pacifica could possibly work when her appearances in the show are so few are between, and her interactions with Dipper even fewer. But Dipper x Wendy? All that's standing between them is a very minor age difference.

Minor? To a fifteen-year old and twelve-year old the age difference is pretty valid. Given a little over half a decade, during the college years, I would conceit to your point. But as it stands, with the summer's end being the time limit, they won't overcome that sort of thing before the show ends.
And as for your example of Avatar... American or not the show is an action-anime meant for a time period when most folks were given arraigned marriages. Any was literally the reincarnation of thousands of years of maturity and personality formation and was forced to become mature for his age. And three inches between them versus literally double Dipper's height to Wendy, my theory still holds water.
Yes, Pacifica hasn't had much development. Yes, Dipper still had some feelings for Wendy. But a writer doesn't dedicate an entire episode to someone spewing their feelings to a girl and having them be let down as a friend if he didn't intend for it to stay like that. And when you dedicate another episode to show the same character getting over the girl while slightly teasing another favored pairing, you don't just turn around next season and put them together. You just don't.
Pacifica is going to be a huge character in upcoming stories. In two episodes of development she has made a complete heel-face turn from her position as a low-level antagonist, and that amount of buildup will make her important. And if Wendy is out of the equation (as I've explained) she is the only girl under ALL circumstances that is single and knows Dipper.

1. That age difference isn't valid under any circumstances. Also, it's up to the writer as to whether or not they overcome it before the end of the summer; and Wendy is still a very close friend of Dipper's. A gentle nudge in the right direction is all it would take.
2. You need to stopΒ bringing Dipper'sΒ height into this. That argument holds no weight at all, and is just plain shallow.
3. Wendy can always change her mind, if sheΒ were to thinkΒ outside the box; again, that's up to the writers.Β But one episode of teasing a new pairing doesn't mean anything; I see that in cartoons all the time, and it usually doesn't go anywhere. DipperΒ x Wendy still have an entire season of development over Dipper x Pacifica, and unless that changes, that episode is irrelevant.
4. How do you know that Pacifica will play any significant role at all in upcoming episodes? I've looked, and I can't find any source that says she'll be a "huge" character in any way.

No offense, but I really don't feel like carrying on this argument... not with someone who repeatedly brings upΒ a characters difference in height as a determining factor. Markmak has a few dippifica pieces, and ever since Northwest mansion she's a much more liked character. She is the only option we have and with her being the only one to equal Dipper in banter and intelligence, she is the best one too
