Mabel is a really stupid girl, no offense to any fans of her but she is annoying and irritating and never wants to listen to anyone.Β

Either you don't pay attention to the episodes or haven't gotten very far in the series, but she does undergo some character development which sort of disproves your point.
Also, Mabel is not stupid. She is actually clever. As seen in several episodes... *waits for person who can quote said episodes*
I have a theory that she is just acting happy to prevent others from being sad. In NWHS, we are shown that Mabel has a hard time figuring out how to choose between things if two people she knows disagree on it. (Trying not to spoil because some people have still not watched the episode.) Mabel is trying to be positive, keep everyone happy, and find love, and combined by the fact that she is 12 does make her seem annoying and irritating, and a few actions she does can be considered stupid.
I am trying not to offend you, but no one can insult my favorite characters and get away with it.
EDIT: I never covered the never listens to anyone part of your discription. Mabel starts listening to others more after Sock Opera. It's called "character development."

All right, sorry my bad. I didn't see that many episodes to be honest but the few I did see she did do some dumb things but as you pointed out she is a kid. I remember this one episode were she stole love powder form this one dude and ended up dumping some on some chili fries to....sorry I forgot who. Other than that I haven't seen that many episodes.Β

I can totally agree that what she did with the love powder was extremely foolish. But she did see what she did was wrong and tried to fix it.
I find Soos does more foolish things than Mabel, and he doesn't have anything to really explain his actions.
