I have like a gazillion of reasons they don't work as a couple, one of the most important is that she grows and eventually will die, while JF will live forever, talk about a passion killer.

... I'm familiar with the Iowa State Fair, in which they will pair literally anything with bacon and put it on a stick. And that sounds like it would be more bacon than even they would believe to be possible within the confines of our universe. But man, that would be delicious.
And personally I'm a frost-bite fan myself (tooth is in universe, both immortal, and a few glimpses in the movie) but Elsa is really the only character constantly paired with jack that I have a problem with. She's more reserved, elegant, and romance is probably not too big a deal for her.
I just realized I started a conversation about ice-magic-lovers and bacon over a GF post. The internet has addled my mind.
