plus ford was really unreasonable with the whole "this book could destroy the world but I don't want you to destroy it, I spent my life working on it thing.
not to mention the whole not even thanking stanley for saving him and the get out of my house and destroy the thing you spent your life working on because I'm mad at you. (that phrase sound familiar?)

Well, it WAS Stanley's fault that Ford's research was held back for a while, thanks to that incident with Ford's invention. If he hadn't have messed things up, then maybe Ford could have got his invention finished earlier, it would have gone right... And the two brothers could have gone on that boat trip together.
Basically, my point is that everything that happened IS Stanley's fault, and he deserves to be kicked out the house and ostracized by his brother... Getting Ford back was the LEAST he could have done for his sins.

I'm just saying, it must not be easy growing up in stanford's shadow, with the whole super smart and six finger thing,
and Ford has some blame to take, throwing away the best bond to ever exist all because of that grudge, there's a thing called forgive and forget, he held a grudge for 20 years or something, and if they did talk and just 'hug it out' like mabel said, stanley could of explained that he spent his whole life as ford's sidekick, and there's nothing, no talent, to fall back on, and he tried to fix it, and the whole thing was because they planned a life together.
and no one should hold a grudge against their brother like that for twenty years.
but we're all free to pick our own sides.
