I don't know if I have said this yet, but I just love this work of yours 
First of all, amazingly well drawn. You mimicked the style of the show perfectly; almost flawlessly. Second, you give a much better end to this episode which I loathed. And finally, the message you give is so true and deep.
Many people, who want to act mature and smart, will always scold you for not "getting over" a failed crush, or keep remembering things likes grudges or tragedies. They seem to forget that we are human beings, not coputers that can't right click on the Memories Folder and send to the Recycling Bin. For them, feelings are great until they annoy them.
What you write for Grunkle Stan is true too: we normally remember things that makes us sad because we can't help but to enjoy the good times from them. We can get over bad things, but at our own time, and not to please any hypocrite who has forgot how being sad feels.

Dipper I now what you are feeling but you got to move on. I'm pretty sure there is another girl out there what a minute! The week before these you did have a relationship with someone else?! Wasn't the girl's name Pacifica! And don't you try to tell me that she's just a friend because I've found and read Journal 3! You have feelings for her and your afread to admit to yourself that is the case. During summer when you go back to Gravity Falls found her and try to talk to her. Who knows she might have the same feelings about you.

Stan knows how Dipper feels about losing your first love, because he went through the same thing. (Yeah, I do think Carla was his first real love interest before things went downhill.) Poor guys.

To be honest, i'm still mad at Carla for running off with that hippie guy. I don't know if she and Stan were officially dating when that happened but just the way that scene played out in the flashback....it just really made her look heartless ya know? Stan deserves better imo.

From what I heard, Stan and his wife were only married for a few hours. Turns out she only married him so she could steal his car. (Possibly some money too. I cant remember)
