I love the frame includes this notice on the wall along with "this tunnel" that is mentioned in the notice. It makes me want to walk inside the picture and find out more about "this tunnel".

Glad you like it. There was no manipulation here for the most part. The shot on the right of the tunnel was done in HDR. The shot on the left was just postprocessed using Adobe's RAW editor.

HDR stands for high dynamic range. To make it brief, you take three shots of the same thing all at different exposures. One will be underexposed, one will be overexposed, and one will be in the middle. Using certain software you can combine these three shots into one shot with a "high dynamic range".

They are actually fairly common. I'm sure there are tons in Massachusetts. I'll probably head up there one day to explore.
