Someone requested a drawing of Volcana, a character who first appeared ages ago in Marvel’s Secret Wars. I got piqued when I found out she was described as being overweight and so…
She never appeared this big in the comics , as far as I know. Volcana also apparently never had an actual costume - just a purple swimsuit made of unstable molecules , so it didn’t disintegrate when she used her volcanic powers. ( I love Comic Book Science , don’t you?) She changed her appearance when powered up , so I decided to simply put a volcano in the background here.

This is totally how she should be drawn! It always annoyed me how she wasn't drawn as chubby at all most of the time, just busty but still with a tiny waist like all the other ladies, yet all the other characters talked about her like she was hugely obese, calling her awful things like "bloated cow" and "filthy fat bag" My guess is, she was meant to be bigger, but the artists just had no idea how to deviate from the standard model they drew all women with. So they had to communicate her size by having the other characters comment on it.
Anyway, this is lovely, I like the light effects and the pretty purple color, and how she's got huge thighs and all but also seems to have abs? I think it really brings together the "curvaceous soft but muscular Amazon" that Volcana was probably intended to be.

Wow she is so hot, you have got the big sexy lady so very right in all the ways so very hot, now can you make her sinking in to some quicksand, would love to see an close up of your lovely fat feet slowly walking in the the soft sucking sand and did not know it until it was up to her ankles and trying to get out surprised by it she just keep trying to get out but all she is doing in sinking deeper until she is knee deep in the quicksand, but then she remembers what she can do, make the ground hard so she can walk out of it . Thanks! While I do like drawing the big ladies , I tend to keep it at light cheesecake , no situations really & not much else. Interesting idea , though , especially suited for Volcana...

THis is what happened fro most of the people looking at this pic. You typed in Volcana for the DC comic super villian and see this and think wtf is this shit? Or you mistyped Volcano and saw this pic and went ftw! the other third of u are prob guys tht like fat women

You're probably right about that. There's freakin' Volcanas everywhere. Marvel Comics has TWO Volcanas , this big one & someone else.
