second study for the creation of Kamen Rider Strider, a rider of Kabuto series based on Waterstrider insect, Strider was created by me with the help of my friend the hoodded magethis study is a mix with my first sketch and the first sketch of RamenDriver

Okay thanks! HoodedMage also mentioned that the Zecter would be the staff itself, so there should be somekind of extending part on it.

in fact we are still thinking about it, it is necessary to have some apparatus for Zecter fit for the henshin occur, then it may not work the Zecter be the staff...
maybe if the staff are like the Sasword's sword or Drake's gun gets better

That's what I originally imagined too, if he was still a monk, monk's usually walk around with their staff. The would-be rider would go on adventures with the staff and when the need arises, the zecter would fly and latch to the staff activating the henshin. Then for the cast off, he would activate a gimmick on the zecter, the zecter would then transform into the Trident spearhead that would trigger the cast off.
This one actually uses both Zabee's zecter transformation to weapon mode and Drake/Sasword's apparatus for the zecter to latch on to. I'm drawing it now I should be able to post it later.

the zector it self was created as an early prototype for teh Masked Rider System but a worm wanted to test harsh conditions to it not knowing it had inteligence, to the zector it felt like torture and once it fed up and attacked, escaping wiithin the ClockUpZone with the staff that was sepose to be used as the trasformation device. after the events of Kabuto, & the rest of the riders, it finaly emerges and bonds with a human(or worm depending on what mark wants),

And/Or/Maybe during the zecter's escape the staff got lost in time and landed in the near future, found by the monk.
I also cannot remember, but have you guys thought of the monk's personality yet? Would he be like the serious monk type or a monk-in-training type that slowly learns the ways of the monk?
Serious Monk - already a full pledged monk, shaven head, absolutely no more temptations.
Monk-in-training - unsure of himself, often losing himself to temptations and whilst trying to fight it (this could also be how he would be tempted to use/pick up the zecter's staff, he finds it cool because of it's futuristic design)

oooooohh I liked that lost in time bit, thats a good concept, like he has it abit dented and rusted but its is like a passer down to the head monk, and some worm got crazy and came into a temple at first pissing off the monks but then killing the head monk, then the monk in training [Insert name here] picked it up and tried to fight back only for the form to evolve and then attack him with its clock up abilites, suddenly a mirrical happen the Zector was activated and the Zector sence a worthyness towards him and flys down fighting and giving him the ability to transform into strider, and him remembering a past rider (kabuto)and how he fights & stuff, staff fighing on water & shit and then the zector blinks, CAST OFF-CHANGE WATER STRIDER, Kamen Rider Strider is born... but we need to watch Kabuto too... God damnit XD

yea, he may run into some past kabuto riders, and eventualy meet tendo with his "my grandma said this.."-speeches, i have a compelation video of all his quotes XD

We can name him a lot of things, but if you guys want to give his name some meaning like Tendou's, then that would be pretty difficult but fun. xD
