Rayman is one of the Few Non Sonic Characters I want left in Smash. Funny that 3 of them are Assist (Shadow, Knuckles and Bomberman. Crash and Spyro have a chance and I hope this happens!

I have high hopes for him getting in on the fighter pass there's two left on the current pass but I think they'll make a second
pass due to it making them lots of money.

It's like the time I thought I was a robot clone but then turned out to be a hedgehog made with alien blood for some reason on a space colony where my brother was a giant lizard that merged with the ship, and I died when falling back to Earth but actually didn't die somehow. That still does not mean that he is deconfirmed. After all there is no Globox or a Barbara spirit, so that could mean a slight hope for Rayman, but we'll just have to wait and see what happens, only time will tell.
