US1 | MaineI captured this image somewhere along US Route 1 in NE Maine. It was one of the most spectacular sunsets I've ever seen. I saw it developing and drove as fast as i could to find a decent foreground to pair it with. I think I was pretty successful.

Gorgeous shot! I'm convinced that Maine has the most beautiful sunsets. My husband and I moved here in July, and we're still in awe. You should see the sun set (and rise!) on top of Cadillac Mt. in Acadia if you ever get the chance.

I grew up in the northern tip of maine, and i got to see a small portion of the northen lights, It was in a small town called limestone.

Its not bad, quiet and what not, fresh air, you can see the sky at night, clean spring water, fresh berries, alot of forest and wild life, most of all i miss the snow
