I'm never good at moments like this. Though I dress like the Goths I create, I try to be as optimistic and hopeful in real life as I can be. It makes it easier to forget the real agony of the world, even if it's still there. I know trying to hide the problem won't solve it, but at least it stops other people from feeling the same way.

But when something like this happens, it's hard, if not impossible, to change the subject or make a joke about it. I never know the right thing to say or do in situations like this. I've never had anyone close to me pass away before, since my own nana a few years ago.

This time, as you probably already know, Briana recently passed away, after her long battle with her terminal illness. This is the least I can do for her. I'm sorry if you wanted your character in this, but I'm sure your thoughts are with them.

I really don't know what else to say here. I suppose it's best just to end it here, then.
