One of the temples at Philae.Love those combinations of Roman and Egyptian. During and after the time of Alexander the Great, when Egypt was part of his empire, this was the way of things, building in a combination of the themes.

It amazes me they still stand to this day. Ruins though they may be, how many buildings of the 20th century would survive a millennia deserted?
