I wasn't sure if panel 1 comes across as to cheesy, but I thought, what the hey, if you're going to be a Christian the least you can do is be happy about it.

Likewise, I wasn't sure where to pitch Bill's expression in panel 2. I went for a cautious smile, to reflect the fact that Bill's an honest guy who can't help but empathise with genuine joy that the Jesus-dudes are expressing.

Some stories have a beginning, middle and end. This has a beginning, middle and emergency stop! I really wanted to get the chicks in. I always try to make the 'finale' of my comics not about amazing divine revelation, cos not-Christian-peeps perhaps won't find it to satisfying. I think if people see the comic as enjoyable on the whole, they'll relate better to the Christian Message.

Am I right in this assumption? Did I achieve my aim? Am I fairly neurotic? Only you can tell!
