Description There has always been a strong bond between the ocean and my life. I have been lucky enough to have been close to the Pacific for all but the first six months of my life.
For many years I had dreams that included both the ocean and my father. Usually it indicated a need for strength during overwhelming times.
The sea is no respector of persons and judges at will, affecting all inhabitants of the earth.

Yes, you capture the world in creation: the sea is not solid yet, and the earth itself is fleeting.

The Sea has always been my truest, purest and most constant source of strength, peace and dream-making.

Your thoughts are as inspiring as your work and rarely have I felt such deep admiration and respect so.. instantly and instinctively.

May you never be without.

Thank you so much for your kind words.
I think maybe we feel that connection to the living world that is so often ignored...the sea being that paradox of life givingness - so powerful, violent, yet will lull you into blissful sleep

this photo makes me imagine that the birds are ancient and flew through to our time by way of some secret knowledge that only their kind possess.

I am very moved by this image. It seems about memory in some way.
I, too, feel a strong bond with the ocean...or large bodies of water.
